Global Playlist Cover Designs
Global requested new designs for playlists covers which would appear more visually coherent across the Global Player app, incorporating a new look & feel with the Global house style.
Playlist Cover Designs
Moving away from brand specific playlists we used the Global Player logo in the top left corner and playlist titles where all position in the centre using the font ITC Avant Garde font to keep consistency across all the playlist covers.
Playlist Categories
Template designs were grouped into categories based on frequency of upload to the Global Player. Different playlists would be updated at different intervals, some more regularly than others for example New Music was a weekly update as there was a high turn-over of new artist pop music being released compared to Acoustic Hits which was a niche genre.
